For all SIU Board of Chairmen Members and National Delegates
Subject: Editorial Board of Urology - The Gold Journal
The Société Internationale d’Urologie wishes to solicit nominations for five SIU Members to serve on the Editorial Board for the SIU’s official Journal, Urology – The Gold Journal. These five members will represent the five major geographical regions (Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, North America, and South America) as well as a variety of subspecialty areas.
Editorial Board members will engage in activities such as:
• Recruiting or encouraging authors from his/her region to submit papers to the Journal.
• Where appropriate, serving as a reviewer for articles submitted from the relevant region.
• Involvement in consultations with the Editor and Editorial Board with regard to topics for review papers or supplements.
Those appointed to the Urology Editorial Board will automatically become members of the SIU Publications Committee.
Interested parties are asked to submit their CV to SIU Publications Committee Chair, Prof. Antonio Carlos Pompeo via the Central Office at central.office@siu-urology.org no later than
Friday, March 30, 2012. Successful applicants will be notified following the AUA Congress, May 19-23, 2012.
