Thanks to its web-based structure, this easy-to-use service allows authors whose work has been presented at an SIU Congress to share their slides, pictures, audio and video with urologists around the world–all while maintaining full copyright, as no rights are relinquished by mounting the video on
iClinics.org.
The technical infrastructure will not allow
iClinics.org to become a "medical YouTube", with unreviewed content uploaded indiscriminately.
SIU members and presenters create an account and are then able to upload their material for evaluation. With time, the store of content in video format will represent a valuable resource for providing medical video information.
Authors can list their video as “published” on
iClinics.org for purposes of their CV.
The SIU is convinced that iClinics.org is an excellent tool to continue supporting international communication, cooperation and scientific exchange within the global urological community.
iClinics.org is the future of free, online education for urologists worldwide.
