About

The SIU scholarship programme for young urologists is one of the cornerstones of our educational mission.

The programme offers two types of training scholarships and is open to urologists from the developing world who have completed their urology specialization within the past five years.

• The first scholarship allows the scholar to train at an SIU-Accredited Training Centre within the candidate’s geographical region.
• The second scholarship offers a visiting scholar an observational role at an SIU-Accredited Training Centre.

Both programmes offer scholarships for a 3- or 6-month period at an SIU-recognized institute, with funding of USD 2,500 for a 3-month period and USD 5,000 for a 6-month period.
