The SIU 2026 Residents’ Mentor Session will offer residents exclusive, face‑to‑face access to global urology leaders for candid discussions on their career pathways.
 

 

The Société Internationale d’Urologie (SIU) will host its second Regional Meeting for Urology Residents from November 20–22, alongside the 33rd Annual Meeting of the Chinese Urological Association (CUA). This event brings together residents and early-career urologists from around the world, with strong participation from across China. This two-day programme focuses on engagement and interaction. Attendees can take part in discussions, semi-live presentations, and meaningful exchanges with both faculty and peers.

Urotrainer Uro-Oncology Programme

Urotrainer Academy is a 10-week intensive, hands-on program for urology residents and fellows focused on laparoscopic partial nephrectomy and radical prostatectomy. The curriculum includes 12 partial nephrectomies on a high-fidelity kidney model, progressing from low- to high-complexity tumors, and two complete laparoscopic radical prostatectomies on an anatomically accurate prostate model. 

Trainees practice all key surgical steps in a structured, step-by-step approach. All sessions are delivered live via Zoom, with real-time guidance from expert faculty.

Training method:

  • Individualized feedback from experienced proctors
  • Solid theoretical knowledge acquired through online lessons
  • Progressive and continuous hands-on simulation using cadaver-free, realistic models
  • Evaluation of training performance with quantitative metrics
