The Société Internationale d’Urologie (SIU) and the Emirates Urological Society (EUS) have been closely monitoring the evolving situation in the Middle East over the past week and recognise its impact on the SIU–EUS Congress scheduled to take place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, from October 14–17, 2026.
After careful consideration, the joint SIU–EUS Congress will be postponed. Both societies will move forward with their respective annual meetings in 2026, which will now be held independently. Further details regarding these arrangements will be communicated shortly.
We remain mindful of all those affected during this difficult time and thank our members and partners for their understanding as both societies finalise their plans for 2026.
