The Société Internationale d’Urologie (SIU), which owns and publishes SIUJ, is the sole owner of the information collected on this site.

  • Register or sign in to submit or review a paper
  • Subscribe to an SIU or SIUJ mailing list


When you register on the SIUJ website to access journal content, to submit a paper, to express interest in becoming a reviewer, or to send a question, we collect personally identifiable information (such as name, address, phone number and email address). This information is entered into the SIU database so we can process your request.

The SIU does not sell, trade, rent, or otherwise retransmit any personally identifiable information we collect online without permission. With your consent, we may use your information to

  • Provide and manage your access to and use of the SIUJ website
  • Notify you about changes and updates to the SIUJ and your account
  • Gather usage statistics and aggregate demographic information
  • Provide you with information about products and services that you request from SIUJ or SIU

E-mail notices: If you subscribed to receive website updates and SIUJ publications, you will be placed on a list to receive periodic communications from the SIU. You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" button found at the end of each email sent or by sending email to [email protected]. 

Online monetary transactions: All credit card information will be sent using our secure server (Moneris and Nuvei provide secure, online, real time credit card processing) and cannot be observed by a third party. We value your information and your privacy and have taken steps to assure that your data is secure with the SIU and that this information is kept confidential. In addition to the security of our online payment providers, the Société Internationale d’Urologie Central Office is also PCI Compliant.

Visitor statistics: The SIU also collects generic information about visitors to its websites, including the SIUJ website. This information does not identify you personally. It includes your Internet domain name, the type of browser and operating system used, the web pages you access, and the portal from another website (referring website). This information is necessary for you to be able to view the SIUJ website pages. The SIU collects this information to have a record of the number of visitors to the SIUJ site, the pages visited most often, the technology used by the visitor, and the country of origin of visitors.
