Thank you to all who attended the SIU's 32nd Congress in Fukuoka, Japan, September 30-October 4!

This year the SIU collaborated with Olympus to award four abstract prizes.

National Sections

The SIU is pleased to announce a scholarship programme for up to 10 residents/fellows from ‘B’ and ‘C’ countries—based on World Bank Data from July 2011—to attend the 33rd SIU Congress in Vancouver, Canada from September 8-12, 2013. 

Applications are due June 31, 2013.
Preference will be given to those who are presenting an abstract/video at SIU 2013.

Requirements for application:

- Must be a Resident or Fellow at the time of application
- Must be a Resident of a World Bank-designated 'B' or 'C' country. To see a list of the

The SIU will provide successful applicants with a scholarship that covers registration and housing for the duration of the Congress (4 nights at SIU-appointed hotel).

Please note that the applicant will be responsible for their own travel costs to/from Canada, and any other related expenses, such as meals and other incidentals.
