SIU 2018 Granted 24 ECMEC® Credits!

The 38th Congress of Société Internationale d’Urologie, Seoul, Korea, 4/10/2018-07/10/2018 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 24 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Taxis can be found at taxi stands in most busy city areas or hailed on the streets. There are also call taxis that can be requested by phone. However, call taxis start with a higher base fare than the taxis you flag down on the street.

Tipping

Tipping is not required nor expected in Korea. But most major hotels add a compulsory 10% service charge to bills. This is on top of the 10% VAT. Taxi drivers will appreciate it if you tell them to "keep the change", but this is not expected.

Seoul Dragon City is easily accessible by train from Incheon International airport.  Yongsan Station is just 3 minutes away from Dragon City.
