SIU 2026 Congress Trainee Scholarship Applications

SUBMISSION DEADLINE: April 22, 2026 @ 2359 hrs Eastern

A scholarship programme for select urology residents/fellows from lower-middle- or low-income countries—based on World Bank Data from January 2025—to attend the 46th Congress of the Société Internationale d’Urologie taking place November 11 to 14, 2026 in Florence, Italy, based on the criteria listed below. The scholarship covers registration and hotel accommodations for up to 4 nights.

Please note that the applicant will be responsible for their own travel costs and any other related expenses, such as visas, meals, insurance, and other incidentals. Residents might wish to approach their local national urological organization to help defray some of these costs.

Visa / Entry Requirements
Please be sure to check the visa requirements for your country at the nearest consulate, embassy or website as these vary from country to country. Please allow enough time for visa applications. Refunds will not be given to participants who were unable to obtain the necessary paperwork for entry.

Applicants must:

• Be a Resident or Fellow at the time of application. Proof of residency/fellowship required.
• Complete the online application before the deadline (including list of publications, awards/honours and previous conference presentations)
• Reside in a World Bank-designated lower middle- or low-income country. To see a list of the World Bank classifications, please click here.
• Have submitted at least one abstract for the SIU 2026 Congress.
