The purpose of this global survey is to identify and analyze global variations in the technical aspects of microsurgical subinguinal varicocelectomy, including anesthesia, equipment, operative technique, and perioperative management, as well as to document complication rates, surgeons’ training backgrounds, and expert recommendations. The findings will help highlight areas of consensus and controversy, providing a foundation for future evidence-based guidelines aimed at optimizing surgical quality and improving patient outcomes worldwide.
Eligibility: This survey can be completed by Urologists and Andrologists—both GAF members and non-members—who perform subinguinal varicocelectomy in their practice, regardless of the indication (infertility, pain, or other clinical reasons) and irrespective of the use of optical magnification (microscope, surgical loupes, or no magnification).
