Important Notice—Beware of fraudulent email messages from the SIU Congress Organizing Committee
It has come to our attention that some individuals may have received fraudulent email messages regarding the 43rd Congress of the Société Internationale d'Urologie, held from October 11-14, 2023, in Istanbul, Türkiye.
These fraudulent emails are under the 43rd World Congress of Urology - WCU 2023 and falsely claim to be from the SIU Congress Organizing Committee and sponsors of SIU 2023. The content of these emails includes offers of free visa processing, 50% coverage for round-trip air tickets, and 5 days of hotel reservations for participants. Please be advised that these emails are not legitimate.
The only official means of communication regarding the SIU Congress in Istanbul is through SIU’s official channels, including the congress website siu-urology.org/congress-2023 and emails sent from SIU’s recognized domains ending in @siu-urology.org. Any offers or information received through other channels should be treated with caution and verified with the SIU Central Office.
